Dr. Yel'ora

My journey

Dr. Yel’Ora,  CHIN YELU () ORA EDU (also know as Dr. Chinyelu E. Oraedu), is a brilliant doctor who has always loved practicing medicine. But as her night shift schedule became more and more demanding, she found it more difficult to prioritize her health. She tried so hard, but she just kept gaining weight and sleeping less and felt worn out and fatigued.

Dr. Yel’Ora decided one day to stop letting her health problems get the best of her. She realized she couldn’t keep doing what she was doing, so she set out to alter her habits. To begin, she rethought her diet and actively sought out more nutritious foods to put in her body. She also started working out on a daily basis, making sure to get in many hours of exercise every day.

Dr. Yel’Ora recognized that adjusting her diet and exercise regimen weren’t the only things that would help her succeed in overcoming the difficulties of working the night shift. She also had to figure out how to deal with the interpersonal and relationship issues that arose as a result of her unusual work schedule. Her first step was to tell her coworkers and friends about her new way of life so they could help her adjust.

As Dr. Yel’Ora moved toward a more deliberate and healthier way of living, she also started to wonder how she may be able to aid others who were going through similar struggles. She began investigating the distinct health, social, and personal difficulties of night shift employment, and she became resolved to establish a forum that would raise awareness of these concerns and connect individuals struggling with them with the help they need.

Dr. Yel’Ora’s diligence and perseverance paid off in the long run. She was able to keep her weight and energy levels steady, and she reported feeling happier and more content in all aspects of her life. The ability to make a difference in the lives of others gave her a deep sense of fulfillment as she worked to expand her platform and connect with others on the night shift.

She discovered the transformative effect of lifestyle coaching through coach Liz during the COVID Pandemic in 2020.  Her coach helped her on her weight loss journey by providing the personal accountability she needed.  Currently,  Dr. Yel’Ora engages on a deeper level on a weekly basis with her business and Lifestyle coaches. 

As a result, Dr. Yel’Ora started researching and studying the unique health, social, and personal challenges associated with night shift work, and she became determined to create a platform that would bring visibility to these issues and provide resources and support for those who needed it.

Support

We provide supportive educational resources which amplify and also highlight the major health challenges you face as a night shift worker.  Bringing to the surface the issue of night shift obesity, sleep deprivation, chronic fatigue, high risk for heart disease, hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Minimizing the risk of night-shift obesity is a top priority for us.

Empower

We recognize that working the night shift is a huge sacrifice as you chart your own path towards financial freedom. A high percentage of people work the night shift while they pursue a higher education or care for their families. Our empowerment statement is “Earn while You Learn.” You should always continue to learn despite working nights. We encourage you to maximize your daytime hours by exploring new ideas, hobbies, and interests. “You stop growing when you stop learning.”

Dr. Yel’Ora is focused on transforming the whole night shift worker—body, mind, and soul—through her high-quality personal and group coaching services. We recognize that working the night shift is not physiological. It takes a toll on your body. The program reviews your personal goals and expectations. Exploring your short and long-term goals is crucial to your total transformation.
